Is there a charity that collects and distributes plus-sized clothing?
Sunday, February 28th, 2010I have some stuff that’s too big for me now (:D) and my mom is trying to purge a few decades worth of work outfits. Some of it is practically new, and I know how hard it can be to find clothes in certain sizes; I can’t imagine how difficult it must be for someone who can’t really afford to shop, either. I was thinking of just dropping a couple of bags at the Goodwill store, but do you know of any organizations that will actually give outfits to someone in need? Even if they only take one type of clothing (ex/ I have a formal dress going to Project Prom, and some barely-worn bras going to the Bosom Buddy program.) please let me know.
Call a shelter, they give all their donations away, they don’t charge anybody anything
